PRAYER

Every Mission requires Support and MCM is no exception – Prayer is the bedrock of any work for God and we depend upon the faithful prayers of God’s people to help us in this work amongst the men of the sea. Check out the Bi-monthly Prayer Letter on this site, it will give you updated information for your prayerful consideration and support. There is also a monthly Prayer Meeting on the first Monday of each Month (exc Bank Hols), 2pm at the Chaplain’s House.

KNITTING

All over the UK there are many individuals who knit woolly hats and chest warmers for the seafarers, we are so grateful to these ladies who take the time and the effort to do this for the men of the sea. They are a great resource and are always gratefully accepted by the crew who receive them.  If you think that you could help in this way then check out the patterns below.  my pictures dave 002

CHRISTMAS PARCELS

Every year we distribute Christmas parcels to seafarers who are away from home. We are grateful to a number of Church’s and Christian Groups and other individuals who contribute to towards this, then at the end of November folk from Hope Community Church help us wrap these up. Check out Parcels and Patterns heading for Items suitable for Seafarers Parcels.    Christmas Parcel Helpers 1

FINANCE –  Financial support for MCM comes from a number of Churches, Christian groups, and other individuals. Many have stood with us over a number of years and have been unstintinting in their support. And we are very grateful to those who help the Ministry in this way.
